A 550-square-kilometer park in western Thailand located in Kanchanaburi Province.

The major attraction of the park is Erawan Falls, a waterfall named after the Erawan, the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology.

There are also four caves in the park: Mi, Rua, Wang Bahdan, and Phartat where you can explore and see some weird and wonderful limestone formations, stalactites and stalagmites.

Erawan Falls has seven levels dropping down over 1,500m and is regarded as one the more beautiful in Thailand. You can walk to each level fairly easily on the paths but if you’re aiming to get to the very top then it’s a bit of a scramble up the cliff – it’s worth the effort though!

You can swim in some of the pools created by the falls but the ones at the bottom are the largest and most accessible. Swimming is okay if you can stand the fish nibbling at you. Fish exfoliation.
